I was just wondering where the closest casino to Denver, CO is that allows 18 year olds to gamble (poker.. not slots. I don’d know if they specify on game types). I don’t mind driving out of state. I just want to know the closest casino.
FYI, to those uninformed, YES, there are casinos that allow people under 21 to gamble and they are in the USA. Indian reservations can do this, for the most part.
Buffy, do some research before you come out saying someone is wrong. You obviously do not know this for a fact, because you’re wrong.

Indian Casinos may not let people under 21 to enter because of state laws or alcohol. But there are casinos in the USA that allow gambling under the age of 21. Might I point out Maine, whose gambling age is 16.

I am throwing my husband a casino party for his 40th birthday. There will be approx. 40 guests. I am planning on having Craps, Roulette, Poker, and Black Jack tables set up. Also there will be 5 hand held slot machine games and Plinko. I was wondering if you think that I should also include Bingo for those who aren’t into gambling so much?
Or do you have any other ideas for games that might work?
It will be an all adult party.
Obviously, all casino games have the potential to make your wildest dreams come true, but I’d just like a bit of an idea about how to advise my friends who would like to hang out and gamble some with me.
Blackjack, Slots, Roulette, Craps, Poker, Keno, Red Dog, Baccarat, etc. What do you think is the ticket?
First of all, is it true that the alcoholic beverages are free when you are gambling? How is the poker room and the table games? Are the rooms in the casino nice and do they have a pool and whirlpool. Do people think this casino is a better option than the canadian casino’s if you like to drink? I know this is a lot of questions but I have become fed up with Casino Niagara and Fallsview.
IF SO, ANYONE KNOW PERCENTAGE OF PAYOUTS FOR VIDEO POKER, SLOTS, ECT?

Ok, we all know that casino gambling is a losing game in the long run (unless you play games like poker against other players and the casino rakes in 5% or so off the top). We also all know that you shouldn’t gamble with money you can’t afford to lose, so you might as well treat your initial bankroll as entertainment expense.
So if you’re comfortable realizing you’ll probably lose your money, what casino games do you play to get the most fun for your entertainment dollar?
Slots? Video Poker? Blackjack? Craps?
Do you play minimum bets so you last longer or big bets for the bigger thrill?
Has anyone compared the odds for various games against how fast they move? (e.g. Roulette: 5% house advantage with one spin every 43 seconds.)
Here’s a trick question:
Playing odds in craps lowers the total house advantage, but does it lower the advantage enough to make your money last longer?
Obviously there are no right or wrong answers — just opinions.
polarbear, Re: question 3. You’re right. Those are two independent variables. One would have to combine them together to figure out the expected “expense per hour”.
I’m considering a job in the casino industry. I’m not old enough yet, but I plan to either be a professional gambler, or something in the casino/gambling industries. I have been playing poker since I was 12, got serious at 14, have made bout $1,500 from home games with my friends brother who is a professional gambler, so I have experience with poker. I am also in the 99th percentile for math at my age group, and have many logic skills, so much people tell me to stop being a know it-all even though I do know a lot. I’m good at managing stuff, I have ran quite a few websites and have earned money doing that, but it gets boring after a while, and I sold the sites.
With my poker expertise, math skills, logic skills, management skills, what would be a good job for me?
(PS I’m only 15, I’m just preparing)
I am planning a visit to Banff with a dance group, but I’m staying in Calgary for one night… I love to gamble, so I’m trying to find out what the best casino in the area is in regards to the poker room and craps tables (my two favoritge games). Food is not a high priority, but any reviews would be a bonus… thanks!
